David Lundy is a film, TV, and stage actor, and standup comic based in Buffalo, NY.

A popular and sought-after performer, David has been an audience favorite and critically acclaimed talent in the Buffalo area for decades. He has earned a reputation among audiences, colleagues, and critics as an outstanding and dedicated performer; bringing artistic thoughtfulness and depth to his roles, and a finely honed instinct for collaboration with the production team and ensemble players.

Regularly recognized for excellence, he was named Outstanding Actor in a Supporting Role in 2018 for Donald Margulies’ “Sight Unseen,” and Outstanding Actor in a Leading Role for Clark Young and Derek Goldman’s “Remember This: The Lesson of Jan Karski,” in 2025 at the Buffalo Toronto Public Media (NPR) Artie Awards, the preeminent annual event celebrating the finest contributors to the Buffalo professional theater scene. He has also performed in the inaugural regional productions of two Aaron Sorkin plays: “The Farnsworth Invention,” and the adaptation of “To Kill A Mockingbird.”  David also regularly portrays Harry Truman in Sam Gallu’s one-man-show, “Give ‘Em Hell, Harry!”, a piece that has educated and delighted audiences throughout Western New York.

He had a featured role in “A Quiet Place: Part II,” a film directed by John Krasinski.
